It appears my card was charged, even though it was declined on your order page. Help! +

Do not worry. Your card was not charged.  

Because of the nature of our product, we have a strong fraud detection system set up. This is called AVS (Address Verification Service). Likely you mistyped the address and this caused the decline.

Here is what has happened:

When attempting to charge your card, our system contacts your bank (credit card company) and checks to see if the funds are available. If they are, the bank then proceeds to check if the address matches what they have on file.  If it is not exact, the card is declined.

Unfortunately, the funds remain 'held' or 'pending' for 3-7 days. We apologize for this inconvenience but its something we must do to avoid fraudulent transactions. Our payment gateway is called authorize.net. Here is a screenshot of an article on the topic.

How do I get a refund? +

Very few of our customers want refunds.  However, as promised, you are entitled to a refund if you're not satisfied.

Step 1:  Email us at help@bestfakedoctorsnotes.net.

Step 2:  We will refund you as soon as possible.  We are very fast, but please be patient. You will receive a refund receipt when we've refunded on our side.

Step 3:  Now that we've submitted to the bank to refund, the funds should return to your account in 4-5 days.

You may be wondering: Wait, why so quick to take money but why does it take several days to get it back?

We understand. But this is how it works with all credit card transactions.

We asked our merchant gateway this same question and this is what they said:  

"It's usually because they screen refunds more heavily than they do transactions since refunding can be used to launder money into the economy during criminal activity."

Where is my refund? +

If you've already submitted a refund request - and seen a refund receipt email from us -  the funds should return to your account in 4-5 days.

I've been charged more than once, why? +

After you filled out the order form, you were shown a few additional offers.

One was for the Security Package (signed notes), and another was for our Guide.  You then clicked on buttons that said to "Add to Order". Near the button it said "Additional Charge".

Perhaps you did not notice this.

We can remove the charges if you wish.  Just contact us at help@bestfakedoctorsnotes.net. We will get back to you as soon as possible (we're usually pretty fast).

 

Once refunded, you will no longer be able to access the refunded products.

I bought the notes. How do I get access to them? +

A link to the notes was sent to your email address.  If you have Hotmail or Yahoo mail, sometimes we have delivery problems.  Please contact us at help@bestfakedoctorsnotes.net and we can manually send you your link.

I need my link to the notes, where is it? +

A link should've been provided to you after you ordered. Please check your email and your SPAM folders.

One trick is to search within your email for: here is your link:   -or- help@bestfakedoctorsnotes.net.

If you still cannot find your link, contact us at help@bestfakedoctorsnotes.net and we can send you a new one.

I seem to have a recurring fee, how do I cancel it? +

If you see a recurring charge, its likely a small charge for our VIP Access.  VIP Access gives you unlimited access to the notes for a small monthly fee.

You signed up for VIP Access when you clicked this box on the order form:

My link is showing a 404 Error and isn't working. Do I have to purchase the product again? +

This could be three things:

  • Your link has expired. Links expire after 7 days.
  • You've clicked your link too many times. You can only click your link 11 times.
  • You've clicked a link that has been for a refunded product.

Why am I seeing the callback feature pop up, even though I set it up? +

Because its through a different business, our callback feature does not recognize if you've signed up or not.  We're sorry if the popup is annoying.

Why do I have unauthorized charges on my card from your website? +

This could be one of two things:

  1. Someone used your card to purchase from us. If this is the case, contact us and we'll promptly help you and refund.
  2. You accidentally ordered additional products after you filled out the order form. Please look at question titled I've been charged more than once, why?.  We can refund charges to you if you wish. Please email us at help@bestfakedoctorsnotes.net.
I was told that the callback feature was a free trial. Why do they want my CC information? +

It is so they can bill  in 30 days if customers decide to keep the trial.  If you don't want it longer than 30 days, you must cancel it with them, not us.  Their company is called evoice.com and they are not affiliated with us at all.  Please contact them for help.
